OUR AUGUST FUNDRAISER

Friends! We’re nearing the conclusion of our vital August Fund Drive that enjoys a target goal of $5,000 to fund the first half (through December 31, 2024) of our 39TH SEASON (7/1/24 – 6/30/25).

As of Monday, 8/26/24, Boulevard Theatre has reached 70% of our $5K overall goal (or $3,500). If we are able to fulfill our $5K goal by midnight on Sunday, September 9, 2024, a most friendly friend of Boulevard Theatre will MATCH the last $2000 of our goal! That means that we could or might enjoy $7,000 for our final total of our August Fundraiser.
Just a mere $1,500 separates us from not only fulfilling our overall August target, but solving the puzzle of additional funding ($2K gifted!) if we raise our initial $5K goal.
Our planned November concert staging of acclaimed American author Robert Anderson’s powerhouse familial drama I NEVER SANG FOR MY FATHER showcases an ALL-LOCAL CAST (David Ferrie, Matt Specht, Caitlin Compton, Joan End , Angelita Colin, Pat Sturgis, and Bob Balderson at The Sugar Maple. The stipends alone are estimated to run up to $2,500+ and there are many additional expenses (rights, royalties, rent, insurance, printing, etc.).
Please help fulfill our fiscal puzzle by being one of the final “pieces” that complete our risky riddle with your gift of $5, $10, or $20+ … Thank you!

MAKE A DONATION

The Boulevard Theatre continues to be the “go to” place for the unexpected and entertaining in Milwaukee.

We deal strictly with artisan-crafted theatre that is fresh, wonderfully imperfect and still has flavor and punch. No homogenization, no standardization, and no “sameness” — EVER.

Having sold the building on Kinnickinnic that was our home for the last 28 seasons, we see this move as a chance to further enhance the quality of our performances, embark on transformational changes in new neighborhoods and set before our organization a meaningful strategic challenge. We want to make a more substantial investment in the art we create and the people with whom we engage. This is the vision of the Boulevard’s founder Mark Bucher and we can’t wait to embark on this new period of growth.
