Stella and Lou September Show 2023
actor/director David Ferrie

Joe Ferrie (Lou) – This is Joe’s first time on stage with Boulevard and the first time he has worked with Dave since the late ‘70’s (sheeesh!). His most recent work has been with the Falls Patio Players as “Bill” in “On Golden Pond”. He has also performed with the Milwaukee Entertainment Group in “Coffee with Doug” and the Keitzman/Luchessi Project as Josef in “The Fall 1959” at the Milwaukee Fringe Fest and The Walkers Point Center for the Arts. Joe also appeared in Village Playhouse’s “Layover”, “Waiting for Godot”, “Night Watch” and “40 Carats”.

actor Pat Sturgis

Pat Sturgis (Narrator) has lived in Bay View for the last fifteen years, largely because of the coffee. Moving to Milwaukee from Chicago in the late 1970s, he appeared throughout the 1970s and 80s in productions with a number of Chicago and Milwaukee theaters, including the Milwaukee Rep, Paul Sills’ Story Theatre, Victory Gardens, Wisdom Bridge, Organic Theatre, and others. He is pleased to participate in support of this fine cast.

actor Ramsey Schlissel

Ramsey Schlissel (Stella) loves to take on interesting and dynamic roles. Some of her diverse set includes: Daria Chase – “The Game’s Afoot”, Margery – “Hand of God”, Miss Hannigan – “Annie”, Vixen in the edgy “Reindeer Monologues”, Milady -“Three Musketeers”, Lorraine Sheldon – “The Man who Came to Dinner”, “The Vagina Monologues” and Smickers in the mole in the children’s play “The Tortoise and Hare Race Again”. Ramsey finds new angles to bring her characters to life. As a homeschooling mom and goat farmer, she has a passion for learning, for risks, and for adventure. She has lived from coast to coast and while living in California she made her living performing with an improvisational traveling troupe. It’s been a pleasure getting to know everyone!

actor Scott Sorenson

Scott (Donnie) is thrilled to be a part of this production, his first with Boulevard Theatre.  He has been performing throughout the Milwaukee area for over 35 years, and says he never gets tired of telling good stories. Some of his favorite roles include Judas in “JCSuperstar”, Matt in “The Fantasticks” and twin brothers Robert and Sam Smith in “Psych”. When he is not on stage, Scott can be found working for the City of Milwaukee as a municipal court clerk. He’d like to thank everyone that supports the arts, and, as always, never-ending love to the late Aric Fisher!
