The pharmaceutical farce RX is an April shower of laughter. This Wisconsin premiere prescribes comedy and confronts the contemporary issue of over-medication. With Ericka Wade as the harried heroine, Marilyn White as a drug company czarina, and Joan End as the “lingerie lady”! Jason Will is the “Doctor of Love” and Tom Dillon is the macho manager.
CAST AND CREATIVE
The cast consists of Erica Wade as the harried heroine, Jason Will as the depressed doctor, Joan End as the lingerie lady, and Marilyn White as a harpy corporate executive who wants all of America on pills. Tom Dillon and Jaime Jastrab round out the ensemble.
The Plymouth Church reception, hall located at 2717 East Hampshire (just East of UWM) will be home to The Boulevard for 6 performances only.

This charming, affecting tale conveys the humorous plight of a Jewish grandmother and her granddaughter traveling across backwoods America and the men who cross their paths (and hearts!). Circumstances, both hilarious and tragic, bring together the young Israeli granddaughter (who has little command of English), and a young American man (who has little command of romance).
Is their inevitable love an accident…or is their chance meeting and their immediate chemistry their destiny, generations in the making? HANDLE WITH CARE is an engaging, 100-minute script which reminds us of the power of redemption. And the explosive powerhouse of local talent (Hugh Blewett, Christine Horgen, Zoe Schwartz, and Mitch Weindorf), ensures that this rewarding script will be a perfect ”holiday gift” of a show! Boulevard Artistic Director Mark Bucher directs this comedic gem and Jaime Jastrab & Maeve Jackson handle the technical details (lighting, set, etc.). Abby Stein joins the HANDLE WITH CARE team as production assistant.
This theatrical “package” of love and laughter will engage and entertain all who attend this delightful play at one of Milwaukee’s most charming landmarks, the Plymouth Church. Plymouth played host to the Boulevard for two previous extremely successful stagings. Boulevard staged a rare program of poetry in December, 2014 (the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Dylan Thomas & Robert Frost, entitled A CONCERT OF NOTE) and April, 2015’s critically lauded comedy which played to capacity crowds (Kate Fodor’s pharmaceutical farce RX).
