General Auditions – Boulevard’s 30th Anniversary Season

On Saturday, July 25th from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, the Boulevard will see actors wishing to audition.

Artists should prepare memorized material which best showcases their work.  There is a three-minute limit, but within that window of time, the actor may present one monologue or two contrasting monologues.  Artists may present classical, comical, or dramatic works.  The Boulevard seeks a wide range of experiences, ranges, ethnicities, and “looks.”  Auditions are by appointment (in five-minute increments, such as 3 pm, 3:05 pm, etc.) and actors wishing to schedule an appointment must email Artistic Director Mark Bucher atmarksaysthankyouforwaiting@gmail.com.  Actors should bring a current resume and a head shot.  Artists appearing with the Boulevard receive stipends for their time and talent and our productions are reviewed by a wide array of local media.

Potential scripts we are considering for our 30th season include HANDLE WITH CARE (November, 2015),  THE NORWEGIANS (February, 2016),  THE MISER, THE MATCHMAKER, and/or ALMOST, MAINE (late March/April, 2016).    Several smaller projects, such as readings, fundraisers, and workshops may also be included in Boulevard’s 30th anniversary season.
